Restored Bubble Car in Immaculate Condition

Introduced to the public in 1953, the Isetta was designed in Italy by Renzo Rivolta and initially used a 236cc 2-stroke twin cylinder engine. Due to its egg-shaped body style, it was nicknamed 'The Bubble Car'. Two years after Iso Isetta's official launch in Turin, BMW bought the tooling and rights to manufacture an Isetta of its own, featuring the same exterior design but with different components. More than 160,000 units were sold worldwide before being discontinued in 1962.

This particular Isetta features the larger 297cc engine developing 13 hp. Originally delivered to its home market of Germany, it still retains its original German title and was previously imported to Canada and then the US with all duties paid and customs documents filed. It is ready to be registered in any state or country the new owner wishes.

An older restoration, it has most recently been with a Scottsdale collector who has used it sparingly while maintaining it in climate controlled storage. Wit Isetta values on the rise, stay ahead of the curve and buy one now!
